Privacy

Short version: we use your photo to make your monster, we don't keep the photo, and the monster and its video are deleted after 7 days.

Your photo

When you press Monsterfy it, your browser shrinks the photo and sends it to our server, which passes it straight to our AI provider to make the plush or squishy version. We don't save the original photo on our servers. Our provider routes the request to an image model and states that it does not store uploaded originals.

Your monster and video

The finished image and video are saved in our storage (Cloudflare R2) so you can view and download them. Anyone with the exact link can open them, so share links carefully. They are deleted automatically after 7 days. Our provider also keeps a copy of each result for up to 3 days before deleting it.

Daily free limit

To count your free monsters and videos, we store a one-way hash made from your IP address and the date, never the IP address itself. The counter expires after two days.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. If our bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) is switched on, it may use cookies or similar data to tell people from bots. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs for security.

Children

Monsterfy is not for children under 13, and photos of young children may be refused by the safety filter.
